CANADA – Sollum Technologies, a Montreal, Canada-based provider of a dynamic LED lighting solution, raised $30M in funding.
The round included $25M from Idealist Capital, and $5M from Fondaction.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.Led by President and CEO Louis Brun, Sollum Technologies designed a 100% dynamic LED lighting solution that modulates the full spectrum of the Sun’s natural light to illuminate closed environments such as greenhouses, research centers and laboratories. Its solution consists of internet of things, AI-powered light fixtures that are controlled by its proprietary SUN as a Service cloud platform. The scalable cleantech solution evolves with business needs and multi-zone light management, with each zone benefiting from automatic dimming of an unlimited number of light recipes.
