Trellis, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of a state trial court data platform, reportedly raised $15m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Top Tier Capital Partners with participation from Okapi Ventures, Calibrate Ventures, Craft Ventures, Revel Partners and Sky Dayton. The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Co-founded by CEO Nicole Clark and CPO Alon Shwartz, Trellis provides litigators with an AI-powered legal intelligence platform that gives professionals access to state trial court data. Users can search through millions of court dockets and documents to uncover intelligence about parties’ litigation history and their opposing counsel’s past strategy, and analyze millions of state trial court cases to surface the most powerful analysis for their case. In addition, litigators can track legal issues as they are being decided – in real time. Trellis currently serves some of the largest law firms, and legal departments.05/09/2023
