FRANCE – Corteria Pharmaceuticals, a Paris, France-based biopharmaceutical company specialized in the development of therapies for unaddressed heart failure subpopulations, raised €65M in Series A funding.
The round was led by OrbiMed and Jeito Capital, with participation from existing seed investors Kurma Partners, Fountain Healthcare Partners, V-Bio Ventures, Invivo Capital, and Omnes Capital. As a result, Erez Chimovits from OrbiMed and Andreas Wallnoefer from Jeito Capital will join the board of Directors of Corteria.The company intends to use the funds to advance its cardiovascular pipeline into the clinic.Founded in 2021 by Philip Janiak and Marie-Laure Ozoux, Corteria Pharmaceuticals is advancing drugs in heart failure subpopulations.
