GERMANY – Qdrant, a Berlin, Germany-based open-source vector database, raised $28M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from existing investors Unusual Ventures and 42CAP.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the expansion of its database, enhancing scalability and efficiency for AI use cases.Led by CEO André Zayarni, Qdrant provides an open-source vector database and search engine, essential for building the next generation of AI/ML applications.
