FRANCE – AZmed, a Paris, France-based MedTech startup providing AI-powered radiology software, raised €15M in funding.
The round saw participation from Maison Worms, Techstars, and Teampact Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to supports its expansion in medical imaging with artificial intelligence by accelerating the workflows of radiologists, further enhance its leadership in Europe, and extend its operations on a global scale, including in the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Led by CEO Julien Vidal, AZmed commercializes AI-powered radiology software, which facilitates trauma and chest X-ray diagnostics thanks to artificial intelligence. It helps doctors save time and dedicate resources to life-threatening exams.AZmed solutions are already used in more than 1000 healthcare institutions. More than 9000 doctors use it daily in 40 countries and 5 continents.Commenting on the news, Julien Vidal said: “We are thrilled to have obtained this funding to advance AZmed to the forefront of the medical imaging industry.
