Klara Scores New Financing

Last summer, Klara raised its Series A financing thanks to a round of prominent backers led by FirstMark Capital and Project A Ventures, who were joined by investors such as Flatiron Health founders Zac Weinberg and Nat Turner, Clover Health founder Vivek Garipalli, and InVision founder Clark Valberg. Only a few months later, Stage 2 Capital joins this distinguished group to help Klara's go-to-market push.

"We decided to take Stage 2 Capital on board to actively support us in our go-to-market efforts, and we're already seeing the impact," says Simon Bolz, who founded Klara together with Dr. Simon Lorenz in 2013.

Co-founded by Jay Po, former investor at Bessemer Venture Partners, and Mark Roberge, former HubSpot CRO and author of The Sales Acceleration Formula, Stage 2 Capital supports entrepreneurs not only financially, but also by helping them achieve repeatable sales growth. Jill Rowley, formerly Chief Growth Officer at Marketo, later joined Jay and Mark as a partner.
