USA – Tonkean, a San Francisco, CA-based operating system for operations teams, closed a $24m Series A funding round.
The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Foundation Capital, Magma Venture Partners and Slow Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Lightspeed Venture Partners’ Raviraj Jain will join Tonkean’s board. The company intends to use the funds to introduce Adaptive Business Operations (ABO) software to enterprises. Founded in 2015 by Sagi Eliyahu, CEO, Tonkean is an operating system for operations teams. Its Adaptive Business Operations platform gives business and functional operations teams the tools to build a foundation for their set of systems, people, and processes to drive efficiency, flexibility, and scale. Operations teams in companies like TripActions, Hopper, Take-Two Interactive, and many more are already leveraging Tonkean to orchestrate a wide range of processes such as triaging high-volume support requests, auto-handling routine legal or IT issues, proactively chasing sales opportunity updates, automatically following-up on internal projects, and more.
