USA – Autotech Ventures, a Menlo Park, CA-based mobility focused venture capital firm, closed its $150M+ Fund II.
LPs include both financial and corporate investors and other leaders from vehicle manufacturers, parts suppliers, repair shop chains, leasing corporations, dealership groups, and trucking firms. The fund will invest in early-stage startups with a focus on connectivity, autonomy, shared-use mobility, electrification, and digital enterprise applications. Led by Managing Directors Daniel Hoffer and Alexei Andreev, Autotech Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm with over $270 million under management focused on startups in the $3 trillion global ground transportation industry. The firm provides startups with capital, ground transportation market intelligence, and access to its transportation-focused network which includes executive talent as well as 25+ corporate investors. Notable portfolio startups include Lyft (IPO), Xnor.ai (acquired by Apple), DeepScale (acquired by Tesla), Frontier Car Group (acquired by OLX/Prosus), Outdoorsy, Volta Charging, Swvl, and SpotHero.
