CANADA – PreVu3D, a Montreal, Canada-based company that has developed an interactive digital twin 3D visualisation and modeling software solution, raised $2.5M CAD in seed funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $3.3m CAD, was led by Brightspark Capital, with participation from Desjardins Capital and returning investor Deepcore Tokyo. In conjunction with the funding, Sophie Forest, Managing Partner at Brightspark, is joining PreVu3D’s board of directors. The company intends to use the funds to deliver improvements to its cloud-based platform, to double its headcount with a focus on sales and marketing. Founded in 2017 by mechanical engineers looking to improve their own practices and led by CEO Nicolas Morency, PreVu3D has developed an intuitive software solution where users can create, edit and collaborate on 3D replicas of real-life environments, or “digital twins.” 18/06/2020
