ISRAEL – Cynet, a NYC- and Rishon Le’Zion, Israel-based autonomous breach protection company, raised $18m in Series B+ funding.
The Telekom Innovation Pool (TIP), Deutsche Telekom’s strategic investment fund advised by DTCP, led the round, with participation from new investors BlueRed Partners and Merlin International and existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and Ibex Investors. The company, which now has raised a total of $38 million, intends to use the funds to expand in the U.S. and international markets and to further develop its CyOps team. Founded in 2015 by security experts Eyal Gruner and Netanel Amar, Cynet provides an autonomous breach protection platform that consolidates and automates monitoring and control, attack prevention and detection, and response orchestration across the entire environment. It delivers these capabilities by continuously collecting and analyzing all endpoint, user, file and network activities across the protected environment. 29/06/2020
