USA – Capital, a NYC-based capital as a service platform, closed an additional $9M in seed funding.
The round was led by Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures with participation from Steve Jurvetson’s Future Ventures, Greycroft, Wavemaker Partners, Partech, and angel investors including Rentech and First Round Capital, Howard Morgan and Stuart Roden, the former Chairman of Lansdowne Partners. The company, which has raised over $14M in seed funding to date and with $100M in balance sheet, will use the new funds to further develop its AI-based platform. Led by Blair Silverberg, CEO, Capital uses a proprietary technology platform called The Capital Machine to ingest complex company data in minutes and allow subscribed companies to benchmark their business efficiency and receive proactive offers for improved financing terms as their business progresses. The platform is already powering fundraising for a network of businesses with aggregate annual sales of over $3 billion. 30/06/2020
