USA – LiveAction, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based network performance management company, acquired CounterFlow AI, a Crozet (Charlottesville Area), VA-based network detection and response (NDR) provider.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Upon closing the acquisition, LiveAction’s immediate focus will be product development and integration, as well as communications with its global community of partners and customers.This acquisition will provide LiveAction’s current and future end customers and channel partners with a unified network performance monitoring and diagnostics (NPMD) platform that incorporates encrypted traffic analysis for security incident detection and response. The combined platform will streamline previously siloed network operations (NetOps) and security operations (SecOps) workflows, using common data, platform integration and improved visualization to increase the speed and efficiency with which organizations manage network and security events.Led by Stephen Stuut, CEO, LiveAction provides end-to-end visibility into network and application performance from a single systems. By unifying the collection, correlation and presentation of network and application data, LiveAction allows network professionals to proactively and quickly identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues across increasingly large and complex networks.CounterFlow AI’s security portfolio will allow LiveAction partners and customers to gain end-to-end network visibility into that traffic.
