Thales, a Meudon, France-based company which specializes in cybersecurity technologies, acquired Imperva, a San Mateo, CA-based cybersecurity company.
The all-cash transaction valued Imperva at approximately $3.6 billion.With the addition of Imperva, Thales’ expanded cybersecurity portfolio now offers a highly complementary combination of solutions to help customers secure applications, data and identities across their entire digital ecosystem: Founded in 2002 by Shlomo Kramer, Amichai Shulman and Mickey Boodaei, Imperva is a cyber security software and services company which provides protection to enterprise data and application software.Led by CEO Patrice Caine, Thales (Euronext Paris: HO) is a company which specializes in advanced technologies within three domains: Defence & Security, Aeronautics & Space, and Digital Identity & Security.
