GERMANY – Userlane, a Munich, Germany-based provider of a digital adoption software platform, raised €10m in a Series B financing round.
The round was led by Five Elms Capital, with participation from Series A investors Capnamic, High-Tech Gründerfonds, among others. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate 1) expansion throughout Europe and the US over the next 12 months and 2) product development. Led by Hartmut Hahn, CEO, Userlane provides a digital adoption software platform used by fast-growing technology companies such as Celonis, Personio, and Freighthub, and large global organizations such as Beiersdorf, Linde, and Allianz to maximize the adoption and use of software. At the core of the technology are interactive step-by-step guides that layer on top of any browser-based software. These guides can be built with no technical knowledge and lead users through complex processes directly in the application. In contrast to video tutorials, Userlane communicate live with software users by using automatically gathered data from the underlying application to guide them through hundreds of actions. Users, through their own actions, can learn how to complete any task within the software platform, which in turn, increases adoption. 03/08/2020
